Why is this maintenance being performed?
Updates for Apache, PHP, and FTP, for example, are released almost every week. Sometimes these are security releases, making it necessary to update the services.
For the sake of clarity; we will never perform major upgrades, only minor ones. This way, we prevent incompatibility!
What exactly will we be doing?
We will update all services on the server to the latest (minor) release version. Additionally, we will check monitoring, backups, and logs!
Are there any risks involved?
During the update of PHP, Apache, and MySQL, the relevant services will be restarted several times. This will result in a total delay / downtime of several tens of seconds.
Is anything expected of me?
No, nothing is expected of our clients regarding the execution of periodic maintenance.
