Rates for 2026
2026 is almost here, so we'd like to give you a clear overview of what's changing and what's staying the same at Mediawax. We've made some great strides in the past year, and we have ambitious plans for the new year as well.
Rates in 2026: stable for hosting and domain names
We'll start with good news: the rates for our hosting packages will remain completely unchanged in 2026. Despite rising market prices, we believe it's important to keep our services affordable and offer our customers security and stability. Thanks to our company's growth, we can also negotiate more competitive purchasing rates with our suppliers, allowing us to absorb some of the inflation.
Another price increase at SIDN for .nl domains
SIDN, the administrator of the .nl domain, has announced another price increase. A similar increase was implemented last year. According to SIDN, this adjustment is necessary due to inflation and investments in their IT infrastructure.
Although this will increase our costs, we will once again not pass this increase on to our customers.
Price change for .be domain names
This year, DNS Belgium increased the purchase price of a .be domain by €2. We have now raised our price by €1 to cover part of the difference.
Price change for GoDaddy Registry, Identity Digital, and Radix Registry.
Some extensions, such as .FARM, .GROUP, .INFO, .IO, etc., will have a 10% purchase price increase; we will only charge 5% of this.
New extensions
We previously offered around 30 domain extensions, but today we already offer 302 extensions.
The goal is to increase our number to 1450 domain extensions next year, so be sure to keep an eye on our website.
Server changes
We will also be switching to Litespeed web servers with CloudLinux integration next year.
Although these additional costs will be incurred, the prices of our hosting packages will not increase; you'll get more for the same amount of money.

This will require some server migrations and adjustments, but everyone will be notified in advance.
New mail server
We are also working on a new central mail server, which will process all email and offer more extensive webmail features such as calendaring, syncing, etc.
